The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET SS September 2023 results, just two weeks after the examination. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS) can check their results online at nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.
NEET-SS is the sole entrance examination for admission to DM/MCh and DrNB Super Specialty courses. The NEET SS 2023 exam was conducted on September 29 and 30, 2023, for admission to 2,447 seats in Doctors of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Surgery (MCh) programs in government, private and Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) institutions across India. The exam covered 13 distinct categories, including medical, radiodiagnosis, microbiology, pathology, psychiatry, surgical, pediatric, anesthesiology, pharmacology, ENT, respiratory medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and orthopedics.
“Candidates placed at 50th percentile score or above in their respective groups are declared as qualified as per minimum qualifying criteria,” read the official notice. As per the update from NBE,candidates will be able to download their individual scorecard on or after October 25 , 2023, on the NEET-SS website nbe.edu.in.. To check the scorecard, the candidates will need to provide their ‘NBEMS ID’ and ‘Password.’ The scorecard will be valid only for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can follow these steps to download the NEET SS 2023 result:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NBE – nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘NEET SS’ tab.
Step 3: Select the result PDF for the respective super-specialty course.
Step 4: Scroll down the list to find your NEET SS roll number.
Step 5: Check the marks and rank secured in the PDF.
Step 6: The NEET SS Result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 7: Save and take a printout of the NEET SS result for future reference.
All the qualified candidates are required to participate in the NEET SS counseling sessions conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India. The dates for NEET SS 2023 counseling will soon be announced.
