FET 2024 tentative dates announced

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the tentative schedule for its upcoming exams in 2025. According to a recent press release from the NBE, the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2024 is expected to take place on February 16, 2025.

What is FET?

The FET is a single-window entrance examination for admission to various fellowship programs offered by NBEMS. It is open to students who have completed DNB, MD, MS, MCh, or DM qualifications in the respective specialty.

Admission to the fellowship programs is based on merit, determined through the FET and centralised counseling. The trainee will go through a structured training program, maintain a performance record and undergo an examination at the end. Successful candidates receive the Fellow of National Board (FNB) qualification during the annual NBEMS convocation.
